We have co-produced this template PIL to help researchers develop accessible and clear information for people invited to take part in clinical trials. There are some standardised sections of text which we recommend are not changed. Other sections are trial-specific and need to be modified or written by the research team. For these sections, we have provided example text for illustration purposes only. After downloading the template PIL, please refer to the guidance which aims to assist you in adapting the PIL for your trial.
